Des Plaines Flood Action Group Meeting Monday, 3/8/10
We had an awesome meeting of the Des Plaines Flood Action Group at City Hall, 1420 Miner Street! We had a great turn out and people really had lots to say. DPFA Group was tasked with continuing to monitor progress on a number of current flood activities, get involved politically at all levels, seek engineering services (whether private or through universities), and to become an even more effective group. This seemed to be the resounding objectives of our membership! We can and will make a difference! Join our group! Become a member! Our main goal: STOP or at least CONTROL flooding in Des Plaines!! To do this we will continue working with local, county, state and federal government members and agencies
